Description: Larimar is a rare blue variety of pectolite, known for its stunning oceanic blues and tranquil white patterns. Found only in the Dominican Republic, this gemstone is often referred to as the "Caribbean Gem" due to its serene color palette reminiscent of tropical waters. Larimar is cherished for its soothing energy and its ability to inspire relaxation and calm.
Fun Fact: Larimar was first discovered in 1916, but it wasn't until the 1970s that it gained popularity in the gemstone market. The stone is named after Larissa, the daughter of the discoverer, and "mar," the Spanish word for sea.
