These leg boots are designed for horses engaged in activities that involve rapid stops and tight turning. They incorporate Ventech technology to extend coverage down the leg, protecting the pastern and heel bulb from dirt intrusion and abrasion during sliding stops.
Materials and comfort: The boots use ventilated limestone-based neoprene that conforms to the leg, allowing heat and moisture to escape to help keep the leg cooler and more comfortable during work. A padded leather patch sits on the inside near the fetlock and cannon bone to reduce interference and provide added protection.
Durability and design: The skid cup features recessed threads to resist wear during sliding movements. Radius-cut straps are designed for a secure grip and a neat appearance, and hook fasteners provide adjustable fit to accommodate a wide range of horses. The design offers protection for the fetlock and surrounding area.
